Within the framework of the collaboration between our faculty and the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), an Effective Communication Workshop titled "From Body Language to CV" was organized to contribute to our students' preparation processes for the business world. The event took place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Şehit Er Süleyman Kalkan Conference Hall.

During the program, which began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, it was emphasized that success in the business world is not solely limited to academic knowledge and a diploma. It was highlighted that candidates' posture, the way they express themselves, and their resumes are of critical importance for making a strong first impression in interviews. The workshop mainly focused on the following three topics:

Body Language and Effective Communication: The importance of walking, eye contact, and posture during job interviews, along with methods for candidates to express themselves accurately, clearly, and confidently.

CV Preparation and Employment: The meticulous process of preparing a resume—the first document that introduces a candidate to an employer—and the role of an effective resume in employability.

Career Planning and Technological Developments: The application of the İŞKUR Vocational Orientation Test Battery and the role of artificial intelligence on professions.

The event, which was followed with great interest by the students, featured İŞKUR Job and Vocational Counselors Handan Karataş and Esra Türkoğlu Demirçin as speakers. The program, which conveyed the message that students should begin their career journeys today, concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers by our Faculty's Vice Deans, Assist. Prof. Dr. Okan Dağ and Assist. Prof. Dr. Serpil Köse, followed by a group photo shoot.
