Our department implements various physical, digital, and pedagogical arrangements to ensure that individuals with disabilities can participate in educational processes under equal and fair conditions.
Physical Accessibility
Within our faculty building, features such as:
-
Accessible ramps
-
Elevators
-
Wide doorways
facilitate the access of students with disabilities to the building and classrooms.
Digital Accessibility
The LMS (Learning Management System) platforms used in distance education processes are structured in accordance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards. This ensures that digital course materials and online content are accessible to all students.
Accessibility in Examinations
The necessary infrastructure has been established to ensure that students with disabilities can participate in examinations under equal conditions. These measures include:
-
Individual examination rooms
-
Extended time accommodations
-
Support personnel when needed
-
Use of specialized materials
Additionally, examination staff are regularly informed about the rights and needs of students with disabilities.
Institutional Coordination
All accessibility practices are carried out in collaboration with the ISUBU Barrier-Free University Coordinatorship. Through this coordination, continuous improvements are made to address the needs of students with disabilities, and a culture of accessibility is promoted at the institutional level.
