Horizontal Transfer
Horizontal transfer procedures to the Accounting and Financial Management Undergraduate Program are carried out within the framework of ISUBU’s Inter-Institutional and Intra-Institutional Horizontal Transfer Directives. These directives have been prepared based on the "Regulation on the Principles for Transfer Between Associate Degree and Bachelor’s Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer Between Institutions of Higher Education," published in the Official Gazette dated April 24, 2010, and numbered 27561.
Horizontal transfer quotas are determined by ISUBU, and detailed information along with the workflow chart is available on the university’s website. At the end of the application process, the course exemption and adjustment procedures for students are carried out by the Department Exemption and Adjustment Commission. The commission's decision is evaluated by the Department Board and submitted to the Faculty Administrative Board. The courses that admitted students have previously taken and successfully completed are recorded on their transcripts and included in their Grade Point Averages (GPA).
Vertical Transfer
Vertical transfer procedures are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on the Continuation of Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs to Undergraduate Education," published in the Official Gazette dated 19.02.2002 and numbered 24676.
Students who have successfully completed their associate degree education and earned the right to transfer to undergraduate education may be exempted from equivalent courses. The course programs of these students are rearranged by taking their previous credits into account. Registered students continue their education from where they left off.
For graduates of vocational schools and open education associate degree programs, quotas allocated for related or continuation undergraduate programs are determined to be at a rate of at least 10% of the number of graduates. Undergraduate programs available for vertical transfer, application requirements, quotas, and score types are announced by the Council of Higher Education.
Associate degree programs eligible for vertical transfer to the Accounting and Financial Management Undergraduate Program are included in the DGS (Vertical Transfer Examination) Guide published by ÖSYM each year.
