The Accounting and Financial Management Undergraduate Program transitioned to the Vocational Education in Business Model as of the 2023-2024 academic year. This model aims to enable students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical skills and to prepare more comprehensively for professional life after graduation.
Compulsory Internship
Under the 2015 curriculum, there is a 30-working-day compulsory internship requirement for all students.
Compulsory internships are conducted within the framework of the internship calendar determined by the Department Internship Commission.
Students also have the right to undertake voluntary internships during periods outside the academic calendar.
Vocational Education in Business (Workplace Training)
Within the scope of the model implemented as of 2023, our students receive applied training in businesses for one semester, which is carried out under the "Vocational Education in Business" course.
This process allows students to get to know the sector, gain work discipline, and increase their professional competencies before graduating.
National Internship Program
Our students can also obtain internship opportunities during the semester through the National Internship Program conducted by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office.
Through this program, students can gain internship experience in both the public and private sectors.
With this comprehensive workplace training approach, students of the Department of Accounting and Financial Management find the opportunity to gain professional experience before graduation and join the workforce better equipped.
