The Career Development Application and Research Center (KAGEM), operating under the body of Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBU), was established to support the career planning and development processes of university students, graduates, and staff. The operational principles of the center were defined by the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated December 6, 2020, and numbered 31326.
The main objective of KAGEM is to enhance the career planning and development competencies of students, graduates, and staff by taking into account their talents, knowledge, skills, interests, and aspirations, in line with the needs of Turkey and the university. In doing so, it aims to increase the university’s prestige and attractiveness. The center carries out various activities such as formulating career planning and development strategies, offering consultancy services to support the career development of students, graduates, and staff, collaborating with the business world to provide internship and employment opportunities, organizing career fairs, seminars, and workshops, and monitoring and supporting the career development of alumni.
At our faculty, career counseling services are also provided to help students evaluate their employment opportunities after graduation and define their career goals. These services are conducted in coordination between our faculty and the Career Development Application and Research Center within the university. The center provides students with information regarding employment channels and offers mentorship. Additionally, an Alumni Tracking System has been developed to monitor the career progression of graduates.
In cooperation with the Career Development Application and Research Center, our faculty offers guidance services to support students' career orientation. Within this framework, academic advisors are assigned to students, and students are guided toward their individual career goals by considering their areas of interest, competencies, and sectoral expectations.
