The university has established a directive regarding the admission of students through horizontal transfer. The inter-institutional horizontal transfer directive prepared by the university is fully implemented by our faculty. Following meetings conducted with the participation of the faculty and departments, quotas are determined for each semester/year. Based on the criteria outlined in the directive, students who meet the horizontal transfer requirements are successfully transferred to the relevant department. Our faculty comprises three departments: International Trade and Business, Banking and Insurance, and Accounting and Finance Management. Necessary arrangements have been made to enable horizontal transfer student admissions for each of these programs within the faculty.

The workflow diagram regarding the determination of horizontal transfer quotas, prepared by Isparta University of Applied Sciences, is available on the university website. According to this workflow diagram:

  • First, quota proposal forms for inter-institutional domestic quotas, international quotas, and intra-institutional quotas for the Fall and Spring semesters are sent to the Faculty/Vocational School as an official letter attachment, and the compliance of the proposals with regulations is checked.

  • Then, the proposals are discussed at the Education and Training Coordination unit, and if the horizontal transfer quota proposals are deemed appropriate, the process moves to the next step.

  • The horizontal transfer quota proposals are submitted to the Senate through an official letter sent to the General Secretariat, and a positive response from the Senate is awaited.

  • Approved Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer Quotas are entered into YÖKSİS in December and June each year.

  • Once the quotas are approved by YÖK, they are announced on YÖKSİS.

  • After the determination of horizontal transfer quotas, the “Workflow Process” is completed.

The horizontal transfer application and acceptance process workflow diagram prepared by Isparta University of Applied Sciences is also available on the university website. According to this workflow:

  • First, horizontal transfer applications are received.

  • Second, applications are evaluated.

  • After sending the evaluation lists, the process proceeds to the Board of Directors Decision/Announcement/Notification stage, and registration procedures are completed.

  • Finally, course exemption procedures are carried out, concluding the process.
