Within the undergraduate programs conducted at our faculty, the Double Major Program (ÇAP) is actively implemented to comprehensively support the academic development of successful and motivated students. In this context, a Double Major Directive has been established in accordance with the decisions of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) and the relevant university senate. Application, acceptance, registration, advising, and graduation procedures are clearly defined in line with this regulation.

The eligibility criteria for applying to the Double Major Program, application periods, success requirements, and course equivalencies are regularly evaluated and updated by the relevant academic units. Students admitted to the Double Major Program are assigned an academic advisor with expertise in the field, providing guidance to help them balance and manage their responsibilities in both programs effectively. The faculty's information systems enable tracking of courses taken within the Double Major Program, and student information systems are structured to support this process. Moreover, cooperation and coordination between departments are ensured to prevent course schedule conflicts and to align with the academic calendar.

At our faculty, the Minor Program (YDP) is also implemented to encourage students to acquire knowledge in different disciplines and diversify their academic development. According to the Minor Directive approved by our university senate, the necessary arrangements have been made, and application, acceptance, registration, advising, monitoring, and graduation processes are defined clearly and transparently.

Applications to Minor Programs are made by students who have achieved a certain level of academic success in their respective undergraduate programs, with each academic unit determining its own quotas and conditions. Admitted students are assigned expert academic advisors who provide regular guidance to help them pursue their major and minor programs concurrently. The courses included in Minor Programs are determined with the approval of the relevant departments and in accordance with quality assurance principles. Course contents and learning outcomes are periodically reviewed. Additionally, coordination among departments is ensured to align the courses with the existing academic calendar, and student information systems are structured to support this process.
