The Department of International Trade and Business attaches considerable importance to the implementation of career planning processes, to facilitate the transition of students into effective members of the workforce upon completion of their studies. In this context, the department works in close cooperation with the Isparta University of Applied Sciences Career Development Application and Research Center (KAGEM), systematically supporting students' career development at the university level. The KAGEM organisation was established in accordance with the regulation published in the Official Gazette on 6 December 2020 (issue number 31326). The core function of KAGEM is to provide guidance services to students and alumni on a range of topics, including individual counselling, career planning, access to employment and internship opportunities, interview techniques, and resume preparation.

The integration of a "Career Planning" course into the curriculum of the department is an initiative designed to facilitate the establishment of career goals among students at an early stage. Furthermore, orientation sessions are conducted on an annual basis for first-year students. It is the responsibility of academic advisors to guide students in accordance with their individual interests, competencies, and sectoral expectations. The aforementioned guidance enables students to chart more informed career paths. The execution of career guidance responsibilities by academic advisors is conducted in conjunction with the Departmental Career Development Committee.

Students of the Department of International Trade and Business are informed about national job and internship opportunities through collaborations with institutions such as the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the YÖK National Internship Program (Career Gate). Academic staff provide support to students during application processes. In this context, a variety of activities are implemented, including resume preparation workshops, internship information seminars, employer meetings, and sectoral career days. Furthermore, meetings with representatives of the business world and professional promotional events are organised to increase students' sectoral awareness.

The department extends an invitation to its graduates, requesting their participation by completing an alumni information form. The tracking of information such as the employment status of graduates, the time it takes them to secure employment, and their participation in the workforce is facilitated by this process.
