In our department, Double Major Programs (DMP) are actively conducted to support the multifaceted academic development of successful and motivated students. The related processes are carried out in accordance with the Isparta University of Applied Sciences Double Major Directive, wherein the procedures for quota determination, application, admission, registration, advising, and graduation are defined systematically and transparently. Students admitted to the DMP are assigned expert academic advisors to help them manage their obligations in both programs in a balanced manner, and their academic progress is monitored regularly. Furthermore, courses are tracked through information systems, and interdepartmental coordination is maintained to prevent course schedule conflicts and ensure alignment with the academic calendar.
Similarly, Minor Programs are also offered in our department to encourage students to acquire knowledge and skills in a different field of interest. In this context, the processes for Minor Programs are conducted in accordance with the ISUBU Minor Directive, with procedures for quotas, applications, admissions, advising, and monitoring planned according to the principles defined by the relevant academic units. In the Minor Program, the course content and learning outcomes are regularly reviewed in line with quality assurance principles, and academic advising is provided to students.
All application, evaluation, and admission procedures for Double Major and Minor programs are carried out with the approval of the University Senate and in cooperation with the relevant boards. Detailed information and documents regarding workflow processes are made available to prospective and registered students on the university website. Through these programs, students in the Department of International Trade and Business can effectively benefit from interdisciplinary academic development.
